This article to will show you the basics of tae kwon do, karate, and kembo karate. Showing strikes,grapples,and throws. Also showing some sort of made up moves to help.Finally a reversal for everyone of those techniques

Steps

Chicken Wing
  1. Find a friend who is willing to handle a little discomfort or pain (but knows when to stop).
  2. Have them lay on the ground (on their stomach) and grab one of their arms (it doesn't really matter which just what your comfortable with).
  3. Have one of their arms on the side of their body and grab on to their wrist or forearm (wrist is more practical because you have more leverage when executing the chicken wing).
  4. Then push his/her forearm or wrist up their back so it is at a 90 degree angle and push their forearm up toward their head for more added pain.
Rear Naked Choke(Standing)
  1. Find a friend (it helps if this person is the same height as you give or take a few inches).
  2. Approach the person from behind.
  3. Put your arm around their neck with your arm at a 90 degree angle and the inside of your forearm against their throat.
  4. Put your free arm at a 90 degree angle with your fist pointed toward the sky parallel to the persons head either touching his/her head or a few inches away.
  5. With your arm around the persons neck use that hand to grab your forearm or wrist whichever is more comfortable.
  6. Now you just close in the space in between your arm and their neck by squeezing hard.
Rear Naked Choke(Ground)
  1. Find a friend (how tall the person is does not matter).
  2. Lay them on their stomach with their chin and head a little ways off the ground.
  3. Lay on top of the person so that your body is very closely aligned with their body.
  4. Repeat steps 3,4,5, and 6.
  5. Now that you have the lock set up roll over so you are both facing the sky (you will be underneath the person you are preforming the move on).
  6. Put your legs around them so that your inner thighs are touching their sides at anywhere between where their ribs end to their pelvis bone is.
  7. Bend at the knees to make them form a triangle so that your leg below the knee is on top of them.
  8. Hook your feet together by putting the outside of your right foot against your left outside ankle.
  9. Squeeze your legs together now so that you are trying to make the "triangle" smaller.

Tips

  • Find a friend that has a sturdy body build or can handle some pain.
  • On the rear naked choke (ground) try to find someone that is not overweight to avoid them from hurting the person doing the move.

Warnings

  • May get some bruising around the neck and/or arms.
  • Bleeding may occur if you don't watch where you put your arms.
  • If you squeeze to hard on the rear naked chokes their is a chance that you will knock out or suffocate the participant.
  • When doing the chicken wing pushing the arm up too high may result in a broken arm or fractured bone.

Things You'll Need

  • a nice tempered volunteer
  • a nice flat soft surface like a carpet
